5-Day Kenya Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. You will drive towards the Aberdare region, passing through the beautiful central highlands of Kenya. Upon arrival, you will check in at The Ark and enjoy lunch. The Ark is uniquely situated overlooking a waterhole and salt lick, allowing guests to observe wildlife from the comfort of the lodge. In the afternoon and evening, you can relax while watching elephants, buffaloes, bushbuck and other animals visiting the waterhole. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by your overnight stay. Overnight: The Ark, Aberdare Meals: Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey north towards Samburu. The landscape changes as you travel from the lush central highlands into the drier northern region of Kenya. Upon arrival, you will check in at Samburu Lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you will proceed for your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is famous for its unique northern wildlife, including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, as well as elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and many other species. After the game drive, you will return to Samburu Lodge for dinner and your first overnight stay. Overnight: Samburu Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Your professional safari guide will explore different areas of the reserve according to wildlife movements and recent sightings. You will have plenty of opportunities to photograph Samburu's unique wildlife and enjoy the spectacular landscapes surrounding the Ewaso Nyiro River. A picnic lunch can be arranged during the game drive so that you can spend most of the day inside the reserve. In the afternoon, you will continue exploring before returning to Samburu Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and your second overnight stay. After breakfast, you will check out and depart Samburu for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the Laikipia region. Upon arrival, you will check in at Sweetwaters Serena Camp and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you will proceed for a game drive inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is home to elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and an important population of rhinos. Ol Pejeta is particularly renowned for its rhino conservation efforts. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to Sweetwaters Serena Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, giving you one last opportunity to see wildlife before leaving the area. You will then return to Sweetwaters Serena Camp for check-out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Depending on your schedule, lunch can be arranged along the way. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence or another agreed location, marking the end of your 5-day Kenya safari. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
